If you want to get the maximum benefit from a "hot" cam it is doubly important that the cam timing be correct. This adjustable timing gear set uses sets of dowel holes with two degree increments. When done properly your cam will be within one degree of right. (Use a 1 degree offset key and you can be exact!) Kit includes billet steel upper and lower gears plus a quality chain.

For high performance engines an efficient crank damper is a necessity to reduce failure. The standard damper commonly used is barely adequate for the standard engine. The damper ring 12A367 can be bolted directly to the toothed belt crank pulley, or used with the original V-belt crank pulley AEG454. The damper must be balanced to the pulley to provide logevity.

On all performance A series engines it is essential to ensure as accurate location of the center main bearing of the crankshaft as possible. Flex allowed here, especially at sustained high RPM levels, can cause spun bearings, crank or main cap breakage with severe or mortal damage to the engine. This specially machined cap provides the ultimate center main location, essential for all stroked engines. Requires line boring, and two extra holes drilled into the block and tapped 7/16" UNF. The thrust faces are part machined for final finishing while the line boring is being done. Bolts on one way only so take care to read instructions

Most engine builders will tell you to replace the rod bolts as often as you can afford, but at least every other time you do the bottom end. If you don't know the last time, replace them. The LFH10006 bolt fits all 1275 motors, including Austin America and A-Plus, except the "S". Sold individually. THREAD SIZE 11/32 diameter 24TPI.
