This wire strap type was fitted from 1974 (in England) as standard, but this will fit all minis from 1959 to 1995.

Seat base to suit either Morris/Leyland front seats, this is a must on a lot of minis due to the rubber going hard and breaking, thus putting your bottom lower in the front seat.

If your mini front seat had a full rubber diaphragm under the squab it used these clips to hold it in place. If you have the later type strapping configuration diaphragm it also uses these clips- 10 required per seat but order individually.

In 1993 the seat frames were changed and although the base frame looks very similar to earleir models, there is a difference in the shape. At this time the seat diaphragm was changed to a special rubber/woven design known as the "Suisiara" model.
